Rohit Sharma is currently gearing up for the upcoming three-match ODI series in West Indies, starting on 27 July 2023. He had a good two-match Test series against the Windies as Rohit scored 240 runs in three innings, at an average of 80. He smashed one century and two fifties also.

In the meantime, Babar Azam is currently busy playing the Test series in Sri Lanka. However, he has failed to score big runs so far in the series as Babar has scored 76 runs in three innings. But, a fan came up with an epic comparison between the Team India and Pakistan skipper in terms of impact in the longest format of the game after 88 innings.

Here is the shared tweet:

After 88 Test innings, Rohit Sharma has one more century than Babar Azam

Speaking of the tweet, after 88 innings, Babar has scored 3772 runs, at an average of 47.74. He has smashed nine centuries so far including a best score of 196 runs. While, after 88 innings, Rohit has scored 3677 runs, at an average of 46.54. He has smashed 10 centuries so far, including a high score of 212 runs.  So, based on the numbers, it was clear that the Pakistan skipper is ahead of the India skipper. But, the fan claimed that based on the type of pitches and conditions, Rohit Sharma has played so far, he has a better impact or legacy in this format than Babar.

Regarding that, many fans came up and shared their views on social media platforms. Pitches in Pakistan have been found very flat in nature recently while India were seen playing on turning tracks at home where any batter finds difficulty to score runs freely. However, Babar might get another chance to add more runs to his Test tally if Sri Lanka manage to set a target for the Men in Green in the second innings of the ongoing Test in Colombo. After day three, Pakistan managed a huge lead of 397 runs with five more wickets in hand in their first innings.
