Suryakumar Yadav took to his Twitter handle and posted a heartbreak emoji early on Saturday morning. This message comes just a day after Mumbai Indians named Hardik Pandya as the new skipper ahead of the new season.

As per sources, there is a lot of unhappiness amongst a few players in the Mumbai Indians camp. 33-year-old Suryakumar Yadav is one of the senior players in the team along with Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah.

On Tuesday all ten teams head to Dubai for the IPL Mini Auctions 2024. Ambani-owned side has over INR 17 Crores at their disposal. The five-time IPL winners will be looking to sign a pace bowler as well as a spinner and a few backup players for the coming season.

Tension rising in Mumbai Indians camp?

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians took to Twitter late on Friday evening and posted a message for Rohit Sharma. “Ro, In 2013 you took over as captain of MI. You asked us to Believe. The leading newspaper the Indian Express had posted an update just a few hours ago. Hardik Pandya had Mumbai Indians to give him the leadership role. This condition was put if the 30-year-old was to come back to MI. The management was quick to persuade Rohit Sharma who agreed to step down as the skipper. It has also come to light that Rohit Sharma has given his green light to play under Hardik Pandya during the upcoming season of IPL.
