Portugal football legend Cristiano Ronaldo has enjoyed a new wind to his career at Al-Nassr. The 38-year-old has set a revolution as some of the big names in the football world have followed him to the Saudi Pro League.

Cristiano Ronaldo had a glittering career in Europe before his move to the Middle East. The world’s best player though is still haunted by his past. One of his former team still owes him his wages. Ronaldo now has taken the legal route to get the money that is owed to him.

Are big European football giants Juventus FC in trouble?

Cristiano Ronaldo spent four years at Juventus FC after nearly a decade at Real Madrid. The then 33-year-old moved for a 100 million transfer. The two parties could be in for a reunion as Cristiano Ronaldo to the courts.

As per Italian newspaper Gazzetta, the Italian powerhouse team owes Cristiano Ronaldo close to 20 million. The Portugal star had tried to reach out to recover his wages without any success. This left the 38-year-old with no other option but to press charges against his former side.

Juventus FC has been having a lot of off-the-field issues. The club was given a 15-point deduction after few irregularities were found. Despite qualifying for the UEFA Conference League, Juventus were denied a place in Europe. This was the first time in 13 years the famous Turin Club would not be part of a European football competition.

Cristiano Ronaldo played 98 games for Juventus in all competitions and scored 81 goals. With Juventus, Ronaldo went on to win 2 league titles and few more domestic cups. Juventus couldn’t replicate their domestic success on the European stage.

Post his stint with Juventus, Cristiano Ronaldo went back to Manchester United. The stint lasted for a year and a half before his falling out with the club and its coach. In an interview, the star player called out Erik Ten Hag and the owners the Glazer family.

Post the 2022 World Cup, Cristiano Ronaldo moved to AL- Nassar. In 21 games the 38-year-old has scored 21 goals and enjoyed a second wind to his career. Ronaldo is still enjoying his career and scoring goals despite being at the fag-end of his career.
