Cameron Green shares his thoughts on MS Dhoni –

MS Dhoni led his Chennai Super Kings side to their 5th IPL title this year. This put the men-in-yellow at the top of the honors board along with Mumbai Indians. Cameron Green had crossed paths with MS Dhoni as he turned out for Mumbai Indians this season. During an interaction with The Grade Cricketer, the Australian star said this about MS Dhoni “MS Dhoni is a like god figure, watching him walk out to bat in Chennai is one of the most ridiculous things to witness”. Green played twice against Chennai Super Kings during the IPL 2023 season both home and away.

Cameron Green is currently playing for Australia against South Africa in the five-match ODI series. Australia won the first game of the series by three wickets in the most dramatic fashion. 24-year-old Green was felled by a Kagiso Rabada bouncer which forced him out of the game. The tall right-hander had scored zero and retired hurt after just facing two balls.

As per the latest reports, Cameron Green is likely to miss over a week of cricketing action. The Australian Cricket Body has come out and told the media that Cameron Green is scheduled to be out for 8 days. This would mean that the 24-year-old is scheduled to miss a chunk of the games against South Africa. Marnus Labuschagne who was dropped from the World Cup team came as a concussion substitute. The 29-year-old scored 80 not out off 93 balls and added an unbeaten 112-run 8th wicket stand with Ashton Agar. Australia went on to win the game by 3 wickets with 58 balls left to play.
