David Warner’s Wife Rubbishes Off The Rumours Of Playing The New UAE T20 League
The new UAE T20 League is going to happen in January 2023. Star players are most likely to be available for the inaugural season. Indian T20 League’s franchises are backing this league financially. Now, reports are suggesting that Australian star batter, David Warner can snub this year’s Big Bash League to play this new franchise T20 League.
Regarding that, a journalist named, Daniel Brettig shared a tweet on 27 July 2022. He wrote that if Warner prefers to play that league by avoiding the Australian T20 League, he simply needs to take retirement from International cricket for Australia. Only then, he should get a NOC from Cricket Australia.
Here is the shared Tweet:

Candice Warner came up in support of her husband with a reply on Twitter
According to some reports, David Warner is currently negotiating to join the UAE T20 League. However, in reply to that tweet, David Warner’s wife, Candice Warner came up in support of him. She wrote: “Do you genuinely believe this? You’re having a laugh.”

However, Daniel Brettig did not stop there as he also came up with a reply. He wrote: “It’s not a case of what I believe. It’s more about how the NOC system works so that international cricket isn’t consumed by privately owned T20 leagues and clubs.” Speaking about this whole matter, if Warner is seriously looking to play that new league over BBL, then, Cricket Australia needs to issue a NOC to him. That league is going to happen during a peak Australian summer in January.

However, former Australian cricketer, Adam Gilchrist also showed his concern about it. He found the increasing grip of the Indian T20 League franchises globally a little bit scary. He also warned the Australian Cricket Board to take an action quickly to stop players from taking such actions in the near future. However, there are possibilities that Cricket Australia might not give him permission to join this new League over the Big Bash. They will look to not provide any NOC to him. Even though, they might think to make BBL attendance mandatory to prevent such issues.
