‘Delicious’ – Marnus Labuschagne eats ‘Daal Roti’ for lunch, posts a picture of it
Marnus Labuschagne has been in superb form of late. After having a splendid time with the bat during the Ashes 2021-22, he looked really good during the first of the three-match Test series against Pakistan.
During Australia’s first innings, Labuschagne scored a superb 90 and was unlucky to miss out on a hundred. Nevertheless, he recieved a lot of love from the fans of Pakistan. Several Pakistan fans had banners of him, and the batter addressed all of them on social media as well. Labuschagne, recently went on to post an image of his lunch.
The Australian players apparently love the local food, and posted several snaps of their food during their time in Rawalpindi as well. Labuschagne took to Twitter to appreciate his lunch. He had “Daal Roti”. It is to be noted that this dish is pretty popular in many South-Asian counties.
“Daal and roti for lunch too. Delicious” read Marnus Labuschagne’s Tweet. Thus, his Tweet instantly went viral as several fans reacted to the same. The local fans were impressed with the way the Queensland batter has adapted to their culture.

Irrespective of what Labuschagne eats, he will still be hungry for runs. After missing out on a hundred in Rawalpindi, the 27-year-old would love to get the three-figure mark in Karachi. The second Test is all set to start on March 12.
With crucial Test Championship (WTC) points at stake, both teams would try to win the remaining two Tests. Besides, this is the first overseas assignment of Pat Cummins as Australia’s Test captain thus he will be keen to prove a point.
