There was a time in India was unbeaten against Pakistan in the World Cups whether ODI or T20. In the 12 games played between both teams in ODI and T20 World Cups, the Men In Blue won all the games. However, things changed last year when the Green Brigade won for the first time in the history of the 20-20 World Cup.

Meanwhile, former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi has claimed that India sidelined Pakistan during MS Dhoni’s captaincy.

The 2009 20-20 World Cup winner said that India won against Pakistan continuously which is why they didn’t take Pakistan too seriously. Afridi added that India built rivalries with the likes of England, Australia, and South Africa. The former Pakistan skipper further added that after Pakistan’s two wins in the last 12 months or so, India has started taking Pakistan seriously.

Approach bohot important he to decide aap apne aap ko kis level me rakhna chahatein hain,” he said.
India will be firm favorites in the game against Pakistan on October 23 given their record in Australia over the last few years.
