‘Don’t ruin his life’ – Fans rips apart Indian Team management as Sanju Samson continues to warm bench against New Zealand

Sanju Samson was anticipated to get some game time in the ongoing T20I between New Zealand and India. After Rishabh Pant’s painful inning of 13-ball six, it was expected that the right-hander will play. However, the team management has once again preferred Pant over Samson. With this fans are really angered and are bashing the Indian Team management for making such a selection.
Pant is slotted to open the innings with Ishan Kishan when the Men In Blue came out to chase. At the time of writing, the Kiwis won the toss and elected to bat first in the rain-impacted game. Meanwhile, the Keralite played his last international game in the ODI series against South Africa last month. He had missed out on the Asia Cup and the 20-20 World Cup 2022.
The fans have expressed their anger at the team management’s constant decision to back Pant despite his repeated failures in T20Is.

Give Sanju Samson at least 10 games and bench seniors for a while: Ravi Shastri
Recently, former India head coach Ravi Shastri made headlines after urging Indian team management to rest senior players and give Samson at least 10 games. Notably, Samson didn’t get much games when Shastri was the head coach.
“Look for other youngsters like Sanju Samson…do na chance. 10 match do usko. Aisa nehi ki do match khelaya and phir nikala. Baithao dusre logon ko. Do 10 match. Phir dekhna 10 match ke baad, decide karo ki aur opportunty dena hai ki nehi (Give him a chance. Give him 10 matches. Not like you play him in two games and then drop him. Drop the others, give him 10 matches and then take a call whether to give him moe opportunities or not),” he said.
