Captaincy in cricket can be very challenging at times, and it isn’t everyone’s cup of team. However, the sport has produced some brilliant captains over the years who have guided their teams to enormous success. There are a few captains who have not seen any losses and have always emerged victorious in their stints as the leaders of their teams. Here are the players who have a 100% winning record in their captaincy.
Gautam Gambhir
The former Indian opener Gautam Gambhir is known to have led his franchise Kolkata to two title wins in the Indian T20 League, but he also has led the Indian team in six ODI matches in his career. Before his World Cup success in 2011, he had the opportunity to captain the men in blue in a few games. He also captained in one match after that.
Gambhir had the chance to lead India in six ODI games. Under Gambhir’s leadership, the Indian team defeated New Zealand 5-0 in 2010. Gambhir also led India to a 34-run victory against West Indies in an ODI in December 2011.
