4. Jaydev Unadkat: Jaydev Undakat the left-arm medium-pacer had a great 2017 season playing for the Pune franchise. He picked up 24 wickets in 12 matches.

This performance in the Indian T20 League earned him a spot in the Indian national squad as well. But his abilities were still unproved in the international stage coming to the auctions of 2018. So, when Unadkat received a price tag of 11.5 Cr INR to play for Rajasthan, the cricketing fraternity was shocked, to say the least.

5. Yuvraj Singh: Yuvraj Singh has been synonymous to a match-winner for India in the most crunch situations and the biggest of matches. No cricket fan can forget his exploits against England, where he hit 6 consecutive sixes against Broad, followed by a quick-fire half-century against Australia in the semifinals.

Yuvraj followed his first world T20 performance with a man of the tournament performance in the 50 overs World Cup in 2011. Following the tournament, he was diagnosed with cancer. Yuvi fought against cancer and returned to cricket after his recovery. But he was never the same player with his form dying off gradually. In such a stage of his career, the Delhi franchise spent INR 16 Cr to secure his services in 2015, which shocked the cricketing world.
