On 12th January 1964 Indian spinner, Bapu Nadkarni bowled 21 consecutive maiden overs against England at Chennai. His accurate bowling style choked the English batters and his spell ended 32-27-5-0.
He did not concede any runs for 131 consecutive balls (21.5 overs). This incident happened in the first innings of the match. However, the match ended in a draw, and in the second innings, he bowled six overs, gave away six runs, and picked up two wickets.
