Rajasthan was the first team to lift the Indian T20 League trophy in the history of the tournament. The Rajasthan franchise was written off by all in the inaugural edition due to the absence of any prominent superstar in the team. 5. Quality spinners: Rajasthan has picked up two of the best Indian spinners of the T20 format. Yuzvendra Chahal, who played for Bangalore for a long time, was bought by Rajasthan this year for INR 6.5 Cr. His bowling partner in the middle overs will be Ravichandran Ashwin. Rajasthan acquired him for INR 5 Cr. Both Chahal and Ashwin are very good T20 bowlers, who pick up wickets in the middle overs while being economical at the same time. The duo will help Rajasthan gain control of matches in the middle overs, giving them an upper hand in the matches.
