4. Sunrisers Hyderabad
Sunrisers Hyderabad had a weak bowling attack in the IPL 2023. Barring Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mayank Markande, their bowlers were not consistent enough. From the start of the season, bowling plagued their side. Despite rolling out bowler-friendly wickets in the season more often than not, SRH failed to capitalize on it, particularly in the pace department. Barring Bhuvneshwar, there was not a single pacer who was consistent. In fact, even the right-arm pacer had off days in the early part of the season.
It was one of the reasons behind SRH not being able to bowl well throughout the season. The orange army would definitely want to rectify it this time around. Cummins is one of the best options for them to rely on. The right-arm pacer can be handy in the middle overs for SRH. In Hyderabad, pacers usually get some assistance. Cummins can be useful in different phases of the game as a bowler, particularly with his newly added skills as a bowler. If necessary, he can bat at 7 as well.
