2. Yuvraj Singh’s exclusion from the 2015 ODI World Cup squad

India was the defending champions of the tournament. They didn’t include Singh, who was the Player Of The Series in 2011 thanks to his all-round performance. Notably, he didn’t play for the team in 2014 as he was out of favor.

The fans had hoped for the left-hander’s inclusion in the team with Amabti Rayudu failing in the preceding tri-series between India, Australia, and England. However, the selectors gave a chance to Ajinkya Rahane, who prefers opening the batting in white-ball cricket.
