Fresh theory floats around Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool exit amid Mohammed Salah’s return

Mohammed Salah is back to training with his Liverpool teammates which has further boosted the confidence to win the League title. Liverpool is already at the top with Arsenal and Manchester United and the return of Salah from injury will only strengthen their chances in the competition.

Mohammed Salah got injured during Egypt’s second match in the Africa Cup of Nations. Salah returned to Merseyside for his rehabilitation while Egypt was eventually knocked out of the tournament.

Salah last featured for Liverpool during their 4-2 victory over New Castle on New Year’s Day after which he went for his national duties for Egypt and then eventually forced out of the game due to injury. The Reds are travelling to Brentford on Saturday and they are hopeful that Salah will be back in the scheme of things by that time.

This will be a big boost for Jurgen Klopp who is having his last season with Liverpool. There have been many theories floating around regarding the reason Klopp left the managerial duties of the Reds. Amidst numerous speculations surrounding Klopp’s departure from his managerial role at the club, a new theory has emerged.

This theory suggests that Klopp might be stepping down following the announcement that former England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson will lead the LFC Legends team in their annual charity match with Ajax Legends. Eriksson recently disclosed his battle with pancreatic cancer and the possibility of having only a year to live. Additionally, he expressed his lifelong dream of managing Liverpool, a dream that could now be realized with the Reds potentially offering him the opportunity.

Thierry Henry shares his views on Klopp’s decision

Thierry Henry is also of the belief that Jurgen Klopp is doing the right by leaving his position as the manager of Liverpool. He feels that the burden of modern-day managers is increasing and it will give Klopp the much-needed breathing space.

Henry said to CBS Sports, “That’s a dream job normally and they are stopping. That tells you a story. The pressure, everybody has a voice, social media, and whatnot. It is tough to be a manager and no one cares about you. You’re going to have to take care of yourself at one point.

He also added, “Liverpool will miss Klopp. We know that we know that is true. But he was missing his family, he was missing his own time, he was missing his sanity. So good for him. When I got the news, I was like: ‘Good for you.”
