‘Green ke liye alag se ball bhi aegi kya’ – Fans react as Cameron Green plays in 2nd Test against West Indies despite having tested positive for COVID 19
Aussie all-rounder Cameron Green tested positive for COVID-19 ahead of the second Test of the series against West Indies a few days ago. However, everyone from the cricketing world was shocked when the Australian team management announced the squad before the toss and selected a 24-year-old right-handed batter in the playing eleven despite having tested for COVID-19.

Meanwhile, Travis Head was cleared of the virus after he tested negative for it after travelling to Brisbane. Aussie head coach Andrew McDonald has also been tested negative for the virus.
Australia vice-captain Steve Smith said that Cameron Green and Andrew McDonald are fine. “No physical drama at all – just tested positive. He and Andrew McDonald are both fine.” Smith said
“Cameron Green and Andrew McDonald will be separated from the group until they return a negative test,” Cricket Australia said in a statement. “It will not hinder Green taking part in or McDonald attending the match in line with CA protocols”, they added
Cameron Green started his international cricket from a very early age. he took 5 for 24 on his first-class debut against Tasmania in February 2017 as a 17-year-old Cameron Green has played 25 Tests for Australia. He scored 1089 runs with an average of 33. He also took 31 wickets with an economy rate of 3.33, making him a perfect choice for the all-rounder.
