 Hardik Pandya reveals he had ‘fear of failure’ during his early international career

India all-rounder Hardik Pandya played an important role in India’s thrilling win over Pakistan on October 23. In the Super 12 game of the ongoing 20-20 World Cup 2022, he scored 40 runs and picked up three wickets in the game. This proved to be vital for the team in the game that last for exactly 40 overs. Meanwhile, the all-rounder has opened up on international career pre-injury.

The fans might his long struggle with the back injury and then the shoulder trouble. It all started in last 2019 when he sustained a back injury. The 28-year-old decided to go under the knife to cure the problem. After this, Pandya was out of the game for almost a year. Notably, during the same phase, the world went into a lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, after the India-Pakistan game at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Hardik spoke to the media. During the interaction, he revealed that there was a time when he didn’t know what was next.

“There was a time when I didn’t know what was next for Hardik. So I had to get very involved in my thought process and then questioned myself “What do you want from life?” Pandya referred to himself in third person as he answered a question from a media person.

The five-time Indian T20 League winner added that he used to carry the fear of failure and other people’s opinions. However, the Gujarat player has claimed that he has removed those things from his life.

“I have got the fear of failure out and I don’t bother about what’s going to happen and what the result is going to be, what are people going to talk but I do respect people’s opinion,” he said.
