The Indian cricket team’s vice-captain and star all-rounder Hardik Pandya is expected to miss the upcoming home series against Australia and away series against South Africa Due to a recent injury. Pandya was injured during the match against Bangladesh in the ODI World Cup 2023 while bowling his first over of the spell.

After repeated notifications by the Indian Cricket Board of Hardik’s return to the upcoming matches of the team, he failed to recover in time and was later ruled out of the rest of the ODI World Cup 2023. Hardik Pandya was recently spotted attending the first semi-final match between India and New Zealand in Mumbai from the stands.

While expressing his emotions on being ruled out of the ODI World Cup 2023, Hardik Pandya on his social media accounts, wrote, “Tough to digest the fact that I will miss out on the remaining part of the World Cup. I’ll be with the team, in spirit, cheering them on every ball of every game. Thanks for all the wishes, the love, and the support has been incredible. This team is special and I’m sure we’ll make everyone proud. Love, always, HP”.
