Mitchell Johnson’s latest comments on David Warner has created a huge row in world cricket. AB De Villiers has expressed his dissatisfaction over the comments made by the former Australian fast bowler.

39-year-old AB De Villiers was seen making his comments on his YouTube channel. The entire incident has divided the Australian fans ahead of the international cricket calendar. Pakistan will begin their test series with the first game in Perth on Thursday.

Former Proteas skipper AB De Villiers was left shocked by Mitchell Johnson’s comments on David Warner. The 39-year-old has asked the former fast bowler to sort out his issues with the Aussie opener over a drink.

AB De Villiers speaks on public bickering between Australian stars

ABD was like on his YouTube channel when he said “I just don’t like this public conversation between the two of them. Just pick up the phone and sort it out. Ask the guy let’s go out for a cold drink and sort the issues out. I feel there are some scars from the dressing room but don’t let the world get in on this,”

Mitchell Johnson and David Warner shared a dressing room for Australia. The two players were key in the 5-0 whitewash over England during the 2013 Ashes. AB De Villiers also threw light on how he felt about David Warner as a personality on and off the field.

“I have played many cricket games with this guy (Warner) and on the field he can be brutal, but off the field, he is a gentle giant. He is a nice guy. Something switches on the field just like Dale Steyn. I have played with Davey at Delhi Daredevils and maybe there is a bit of a short fuse sometimes. Maybe his and Mitch’s short fuse collided.”

The former legendary batter gave out the possible reason behind Mitchell Johnson’s latest comments. “They played a lot of cricket together and have shared the dressing room. So maybe that’s where it started. Maybe Mitchell Johnson felt ‘You’re part of the World Cup winning squad and now this send-off. You are getting away with a lot that needs to be talked about I feel there’s a lot left to come out”
