Former Indian team opener and ace commentator Aakash Chopra recently said on his YouTube channel that it is better to hold both sides responsible rather than blaming only one person. Hanuma is not an ordinary player as he played for the Andhra Pradesh team with only one hand after a fracture in the other hand. The former opening batsman further said that his journey has been incredible.

The journey of the Andhra cricket team from Ranji Trophy 2024 is over. Andhra cricket team could not enter for the semi-finals. Madhya Pradesh defeated Andhra by 4 runs and got the ticket for the semi-finals.

Andhra Pradesh skipper Hanuma Vihari made a shocking revelation yesterday

Hanuma had made serious allegations against the Andhra team and said that he would never play for the Andhra team. After this, ACA refuted his allegations and said that due to Hanuma’s behaviour, fellow players had lodged a complaint against him for abusing him. In this episode, former Indian team opener Aakash Chopra has come out in support of Hanuma Vihari.

The former opening batsman further said, “His journey has been incredible. He has helped Andhra qualify. He played an important role in keeping the team together. I have a lot of respect for him, whether it was the Sydney match where he played with a hamstring injury and put his career on the line and then he batted with one hand for Andhra. I would like to believe what Hanuma Vihari says.”

“Mud-slinging is happening, the blame game is happening from both sides. From a player’s perspective, you want to trust the player always. Hanuma Vihari is not just any player. He batted for Andhra with one hand when he had a fracture in his hand.” Akash Chopra further added.

In a recent interview with India Today, Hanuma Vihari looked furious and he said that people should know about the truth.

“I wanted to stand up for my rights. I put out a letter as well stating all the 15 players, excluding myself, and that players have stated they want me as the player and captain of the team. The team trusted me as a leader. I appreciate all the help which I have got in the last 24 hours. I came out to speak because people have to know the truth. That’s why I came forward,” he said in his recent interview.

The 30-year-old all-rounder from Andhra Pradesh played 16 Tests for India. Vihari scored 839 runs at an average of 33.56.
