3. Ravindra Jadeja’s fifer and a half-century
In his comeback after close to five months of layoff, Jadeja immediately made an impact with both bat and ball. In the first innings of the Nagpur Test, the 2008 U19 World Cup winner took a five-wicket haul. This helped India reduce the Aussies to 177 all-out.
With the bat, the all-rounder scored 70 runs when the team was reduced to 168/5, trailing by 11 runs. His innings and other contributions helped the team reach 400 runs at the end of the first innings.
