4. Usman Khawaja’s 81 in the Delhi Test
For the second time in as many games, the World Number One Test side won the toss and elected to bat first. At 91/1, they were going alright as they lost the wicket of David Warner. However, the team was quickly reduced to 108/3 with Ravichandran Ashwin taking two wickets during this phase.
However, thanks to Usman Khawaja’s innings, the team reached a competitive 263 all-out at the end of the innings. The left-handed opening batter scored 81 runs and dominated the Indian spinners with his sweep and reverse sweep shots. However, one such shot brought his demise at the crease.
