India Announce Their 15-member Squad For The Upcoming 20-20 World Cup In Australia
After a disastrous Asia Cup campaign, Team India now will look to do well in the upcoming 20-20 World Cup in Australia. In the last edition of the World Cup, India failed to qualify from their respective group. Therefore, ahead of the Asia Cup, fans were expecting a good show from India as they were enjoying a great run in the T20I format.
But, they started well by winning the group stage matches. In the ‘Super Four’ stage, they lost the path. Pakistan and Sri Lanka defeated them while they only managed to win against Afghanistan. It was enough for them to get crashed out of this year’s Asia Cup. Now, on 12 September 2022, the Indian selectors announced the final squad for the next edition of the 20-20 World Cup.
