The ‘God of Cricket’ Sachin Tendulkar recently met the Indian Air Force (IAF) CAS Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhari to regard each other with mutual respect and admiration. Only a few people know that the legendary Indian opening batsman Sachin Tendulkar was awarded with an honorary rank of group Captain in the Indian air force as a mark of his incredible contribution towards Indian Sports.

Sachin Tendulkar shared the details of his exclusive meet with the honorable CAS Air Chief Marshal on his official social media accounts. The caption of his post said, ‘It was wonderful to spend time with CAS Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari and the dedicated personnel of the @IAF_MCC. The commitment to safeguarding our skies fills me with immense pride. A salute to the courage, dedication, and relentless spirit of this one big team. #IndianAirForce #IAF .’ 

Sachin Tendulkar on becoming the national icon for ECI 

Sachin Tendulkar has always taken his national duties responsibly. The election commission of India, recently signed a memorandum of understanding to make Sachin Tendulkar the national icon for the election commission of India. The ECI posted exclusive pictures of the event with the caption, ‘Cricket Legend & Bharat Ratna awardee #SachinTendulkar begins his innings as National Icon for #ECI, to bat for greater voter turnout. Signs MoU at an event in New Delhi in presence of CEC @rajivkumarec and ECs Shri Pandey & Shri Goel’, to which Sachin Tendulkar replied, ‘As citizens, our right to vote is also our duty to contribute to the nation’s progress. Let us all ensure our participation in shaping India’s future. Every vote matters.’
