Shane Watson is a name that is very popular in the Indian T20 League. He began his career in the esteemed league playing for Rajasthan in the inaugural season.

Watson was a very important part of the Rajasthan team and a major contributing factor to Rajasthan’s title-winning effort. Later Watson changed a few franchises but in 2018 he was bought by Chennai. That season he again played an important role in the franchise’s championship effort. But after a below-par season in 2020, Watson decided to end his career.

For the 2022 season of the Indian T20 League, Watson will be a part of another dressing room. The Delhi franchise has roped in Shane Watson as the team’s assistant coach. Delhi announced the appointment of Watson through a Tweet from their official Twitter page. They posted a picture of Shane Watson with the caption –
