India’s predicted playing XI against New Zealand for the third T20I
The third match T20 series between India and New Zealand is leveled at 1-1. The third and final T20I is scheduled to be played on Wednesday, 1st February 2023. New Zealand won the first T20I by 21 runs but Hardik Pandya and Co. bounced back with a 6-wicket win in the second game to level the series.
Despite winning the second game, India wouldn’t be too happy with their performance. They would look to showcase their ‘A’ game at the Narendra Modi stadium in the third and final match of the series.
In this article, we take a look at India’s predicted playing XI for the third and final T20I match:
Openers: Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan
Both Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill haven’t really come to the party yet. Both have failed to impress with the bat, getting out on cheap scores in the first two games. There have been calls on adding Prithvi Shaw for the third and final game. However, the chances of that happening are less likely.
The team management would want to give Kishan and Gill a longer run in the format. Expect both the batters to, once again, open the innings for the team.
