 India’s Schedule For Day 4 Of Commonwealth Games 2022

Day 3 of the Commonwealth Games 2022 saw many Indian athletes in action. However, Indian fans did not get disappointed totally. Two more gold medals came in favour of the country. 19-year-old weightlifter Jeremy Lalrinnunga won the gold medal (67kg category). While another weightlifter Achinta Sheuli won the gold medal (73kg category). Now, with these wins, India has grabbed a total number of six medals (three golds, two silvers, and one bronze). Meanwhile, ahead of Day 4 (1 August 2022), more Indian athletes will be in action across many events.

Therefore, India will kick off their campaign in Judo while they will look to strengthen their grip on different events like Table Tennis, Squash, Weighlifting, Hockey, and Swimming. On Day 3, the Indian Men’s Hockey Team displayed a commendable performance. Hence, they will look to continue that form against England on Day 4. On the other side, All eyes will be on Badminton, Weightlifting, and Boxing. Indian fans will be more hopeful for these athletes to bring more glory to India.

Judo (2:30 PM)

Jasleen Singh Saini vs Maxence Cugola of Vanuatu in Men’s 66kg Elimination Round Of 16. Vijay Kumar Yadav vs Winsley Gangaya in Men’s 60kg elimination round of 16. Sushila Devi Likabam vs Harriet Bonface in Women’s 48kg quarterfinals. and Suchika Tariyal vs Rita Rabinda IN Women’s 57kg elimination round of 16.

Swimming (3:51 PM)

Sajan Prakash in Men’s 100m butterfly Heat 6. Sajan Prakash in Men’s 100m butterfly semi-final (12:27 AM). Srihari Nataraj in Men’s 50m backstroke final (1:07 AM).

Badminton (3:30 PM/10 PM)

India will face Singapore in the Mixed team semi-finals. However, on Day 3, India thrashed South Africa in the quarter-finals (3-0).

Squash (4:30 PM)

Women’s singles plate quarterfinals (Sunayna Sara Kuruvilla vs TBD). Women’s singles quarterfinals (Joshana Chinappa vs Hollie Naughton of Canada, 6 PM). Men’s singles quarterfinals (Saurav Ghoshal vs Gregg Lobban of Scotland, 6:45 PM).

Boxing (4:45 PM)

Amit Panghal vs Namri Berri (round of 16, Over 48-51kg). Hussamuddin Mohammed vs Mohammad Salim Hossain (round of 16, over 54-57kg, 6 PM). Ashish Kumar vs Travis Tapatuetoa (round of 16, over 75-80kg, 1 AM).

Cycling (6:32 PM)

Women’s Keirin first round (Triyasha Paul, Sushikala Agashe, Mayuri Lute). Men’s 40km points race qualifying (Naman Kapil, Venkappa Kengalagutti, Dinesh Kumar, Vishajeet Singh, 6:52 PM). Men’s 100m time trial finals (Ronaldo Laitonjam, David Beckham, 8:02 PM). Women’s 10km scratch race final (Meenakshi, 9:37 PM).

Hockey (8:30 PM)

India will take on England in the Men’s Pool B game.

Table tennis (11:30 PM)

India will face Nigeria in the Men’s team semi-finals.

Para-swimming (12:46 AM)

Niranjan Mukundan, Suyash Narayan, and Jadhav will be in action in the Men’s 50m freestyle final.
