Irfan Pathan’s Reply To A Fan Blaming MS Dhoni For His Short Career Wins Hearts
Irfan Pathan is currently playing in the ongoing Legends League Cricket. He is managing the captaincy duties of Bhilwara Kings. Even, he has come up with some good performances with both the bat and ball already for his team. Seeing him in action, a fan came up with a tweet while blaming former India skipper, MS Dhoni.
On 26 September 2022, the fan wrote: “Every time I see Irfan Pathan in these leagues, I curse MS & his management even more…I can’t believe, he played the last white ball game at the age of just 29…Perfect no. 7, any team would die for..But India played Jaddu, even Binny #LegendsLeagueCricket.” In response to this tweet, Irfan Pathan came up with a reply for that fan which went viral.

Irfan Pathan won the 2007 20-20 World Cup under the captaincy of MS Dhoni
Speaking about the reply, Pathan wrote: “Don’t blame any one. Thank you for love.” Former India all-rounder urged the fan to show love for him instead of blaming anyone. Speaking about his career, he won the inaugural edition of the 20-20 World Cup in 2007 under the leadership of MS Dhoni.
For India, Pathan played 173 international matches across all three formats. In those matches, he scored 2821 runs and grabbed 301 wickets. Currently, he is enjoying the Legends League Cricket while playing for Bhilwara Kings.
Under his captaincy, Bhilwara have won only one match among four games. Hence, they are now sitting at the bottom of the table with three points. Speaking of his individual performance, Irfan Pathan has scored 55 runs in three innings. He scored those runs at an average of 18.33 while at a strike rate of 125. Still, he managed to hit big shots while coming out to bat down the order. In this year’s tournament so far, Pathan has hit four fours and three sixes. With the ball, he has taken only one wicket in three matches at an economy of 7.28.
