Bangladesh and India are currently locking horns for the ODI World Cup 2023 on 19 October, Thursday at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune, Maharashtra. Bangladesh won the toss and chose to bat first in the hope of setting a high target against India. Bangladesh’s promising top-order batsmen set a decent score in the initial few overs of the game to lead the team towards a high total.
India’s captain Rohit Sharma invited Hardik Pandya to bowl the ninth over of the first inning and the overall second-last over of the first power play. However, the Indian cricket team’s vice captain and striking all-rounder Hardik Pandya had to leave the field after just bowling three deliveries.
Rohit Sharma called up the Indian cricket team’s former captain and legendary batsman Virat Kohli to complete Hardik Pandya’s leftover over and the star batsmen bowled the remaining three deliveries of the bowler. Hardik began over with a dot ball followed by two fours as the ball ran towards the boundary. Virat Kohli bowled the three deliveries of the over and began the mini-over with a dot ball followed by two singles.

The Indian cricket board officials gave an official update on the social media handle of the Indian cricket board and said, “🚨 Update 🚨Hardik Pandya’s injury is being assessed at the moment and he is being taken for scans.” While the fans were delighted to see Virat Kohli in the match against Bangladesh.
