KL Rahul visits Kukke Subrahmanya temple before wedding announcement, images go viral

India vice-captain KL Rahul is currently on a break from the game. After the 20-20 World Cup 2022, he was rested for India’s ongoing tour of New Zealand. Even though there is no official announcement about his wedding with Athiya Shetty, the former was seen at the Kukke Subrahmanya temple. The Temple is situated in Rahul’s home state, Karnataka. Meanwhile, the right-hander was seen with the priests.

Even though Rahul and Athiya keep mum about their wedding, it is reported that it will happen at the old home of Suniel Shetty. It is also understood that the duo wants to forego the lavish wedding. A few days back, legendary Bollywood actor, Suniel was asked about his daughter, Athiya, and Rahul’s wedding, he had said ‘Jaldi hogi’.

KL Rahul to return in action against Bangladesh

Meanwhile, the Lucknow skipper in the Indian T20 League will return in action for the three-match ODI series against Bangladesh. He will be the vice-captain of the team. With the presence of Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma, KL is expected to bat in the middle order, a role he is playing since early 2020. Also, not to forget, he had a rough time with the bat in the 20-20 World Cup 2022.

Apart from the two fifties against minnows, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe, he didn’t do much. The 30-year-old would look to get big runs under his belt to silence his critics. The series will start on December 4.
