‘Koi baat nahin, Dard hua hai bechare ko’ – Fans rip apart Australia media for uploading India’s 36-allout highlights
Only a few days are left before the start of the highly-anticipated Border-Gavaskar Trophy, the mind games have already started. Recently, former Australia wicketkeeper batter, Ian Healy said that if India produces ‘unfair wickets’, they would easily win the series.
“I think if they produce fair Indian wickets, that are good batting wickets, to start with, (that) probably spin and spin pretty consistently but spin a long way, late in the match … we (Australia) win. I’m worried about (Mitchell) Starc and (Nathan) Lyon in the first Test … if they’re unfair wickets which I’ve seen in the last series, where balls were jumping ridiculously and sliding down low from day one, I think India play those conditions better than us,” Healy had said.
However, with only three days left at the start of the series, a renowned media house uploaded the highlights of India’s 36 all-out. It happened during India’s tour of Australia in 2020-21. However, the former World Number One Test went on to win the series. Meanwhile, the fans have ripped the renowned media house for the video.

India will be the defending champions of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy
Meanwhile, talking about the series, the World Number Two Test side, India will be the defending champions of the series. Since 2017, they have won all three series (one in India and two in Australia). After the 2014-15 series, Australia has only won three games in the last three series. Also, since 2004, the World’s Number One Test side, Australia is yet to win a Test series in India.
In the last 19 years or so, they have won only one game in India ever since. Meanwhile, the upcoming series will be like a semifinal for the World Test Championship 2021 finalists. They have a 58.93 win percentage and need to win the series by at least 2-1 or 3-1. However, losing the series or drawing it might hurt their chances of qualifying for the final of the WTC 2021-23.
