Following a spat with Krunal Pandya, Deepak Hooda left Baroda’s bio-bubble last year ahead of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. During that time, Hooda claimed that Pandya bullied him and he then decided to leave the Baroda team and play for Rajasthan. Prior to the start of the Indian T20 League 2022, the duo wasn’t even on talking terms.

However, Lucknow still decided to buy the services of both the players at the mega auction. Currently, both the players are playing for the same team in the cash-rich league. Hooda and Pandya are integral cogs in Lucknow’s team in the tournament. Their all-around services keep the team in good stead.

Given how the two are spending time together on the field, it seems like all the differences have now been sorted out. Deepak Hooda, recently, even went on to say that both are brothers and brothers fight sometimes.

“Krunal and I are brothers. And brothers do fight. We are a team and we have one goal that is to win,” Hooda was quoted as saying by Dainik Jagran.
