Manoj Tiwary comes out of retirement after only five days of its announcement

India’s middle-order batter Manoj Tiwary reversed his retirement decision after he announced it on 3 August 2023. According to reports, Manoj Tiwary is having second thoughts about his retirement following a private conversation with officials from the CAB and the president, Snehasis Ganguly. This is in the best interest of Bengal cricket.
Tiwary is expected to confirm his decision regarding his retirement via a press conference on Tuesday, 8 August 2023. As per a close source from CAB, the officials requested Manoj Tiwary to reverse his retirement decision after seeing the state team‘s stellar performance in the recently held Ranji trophy under his leadership.
Manoj Tiwary announced his retirement decision via his social media accounts on Thursday, 3 August. The post consisted of him wearing the Indian cricket team’s jersey as he kissed the helmet with the bat in his hand. As soon as Tiwary posted about his retirement, the fans bombarded his post with likes and comments while wishing him good luck in his future endeavours.

The caption of Manoj Tiwary’s post said, “Goodbye to the game of cricket. This game has given me everything, I mean every single thing which I had never dreamt of, starting from the times when my life were challenged by different forms of difficulties. Will ever be grateful to this game and to the GOD, who has always been in my side throughout. Taking this opportunity to convey my sincere gratitude to the people who all have played a part in my cricketing journey. Thank you to my all my coaches starting from my childhood till last year who all have played a part in my cricketing achievements.”
After thanking his coaches from childhood to the peak years of his career, he thanked his friends and family, along with a special thanks to his wife. He continued by saying, “If I have missed anyone whom I have missed mentioning here then please do accept my apology. In search of purpose of life 🙏THANK YOU CRICKET 🏏.”
Manoj Tiwary has kept himself away from any comments after announcing his retirement. Still, as per close sources, he is expected to return to Cricket because of the numerous speculations that have risen since his decision was announced.
