In the Pakistan Super League 2023′ exhibition game between Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi, Iftikhar Ahmed hit six sixes. The incident happened in the first innings of the game with Wahab Riaz bowling the last over. Ahmed was playing for the Gladiators in the game. Ahead of the final over, the 2019 winners had amassed 148/5 in 19 overs. The team needed a strong finish.
However, no one watching the game wouldn’t have thought that they would get a dream finish. Riaz had bowled a great spell before the over as he took three wickets for 11 runs in three overs. On the other hand, Ahmed was batting on 58. In the last over, the right-hander hit six sixes to take his team to 184/5 with Riaz finishing with 47/3 in four overs.

Wahab Riaz is the interim sports minister
Meanwhile, the former Zalmi skipper became the interim sports minister of Punjab a week ago. Governor Baligh Ur Rehman administered the oath to the newly-appointed cabinet members held at the Governor’s House in Lahore.
Out of the 11 cabinet members, eight ministers — Bilal Afzal, SM Tanveer, Dr Javed Akram, Ibrahim Murad, Dr Jamal Nasir, Mansoor Qadir, Syed Azfar Ali Nasir and Amir Mir — took the oath, while three others — Wahab Riaz, Tamkinat Karim, and Naseem Sadiq — couldn’t attend the ceremony. Riaz, who was playing for Khulna Tigers in the Bangladesh Premier League at the time, confirmed that he will take over as the largest province’s sports minister in due time to GeoSuper.Tv.
Meanwhile, with the PSL season eight approaching, the former Pakistan player has been hit for quite a lot of runs. The fans in return have a jibe at the interim Sports Minister of Punjab, Pakistan.
