Several star players from Australia and New Zealand are set to be available for the IPL auctions 2024. The reports suggest that about 590 players are set to go under the hammer during the IPL auctions for the 2024 season. Among them, there are several players who shined in the recently concluded ODI World Cup 2023. Most of them belong to the top teams in the world, who can bag huge prices.
Mitchell Starc is set to make a comeback in the IPL after almost 8 years. The last time the left-arm pacer played in the league was way back in 2015, where he was at his prime. The Australian pacer played for RCB in the IPL in the past. Many teams need a world class pacer. Hence, Starc might be in the plans to be brought by several franchises.
Likewise, there are some Kiwi players available at the auctions like Rachin Ravindra and Daryl Mitchell. The two batters were the standout performers for New Zealand in their ODI World Cup 2023 campaign. Rachin might be targeted by several teams, given his age and ability to deliver in more than one discipline. Mitchell for his aggressive batting in the middle order might bag a good deal.

Travis Head has registered his name for the IPL auctions 2024. The Australian batter played some insane knocks in the recently concluded ODI World Cup 2023. The Southpaw became the first player since 1996 to claim the Player of the Match award in both the semifinal and the final of a single edition of the World Cup. Head won the Player of the Match award against both India and South Africa in the knockouts.
The Australian captain is also available for the auctions. Pat Cummins might have a bigger demand in this IPL, given how he has improved over the years. Cummins is now a World Cup winning captain with an ability to contribute with the bat too. As a bowler, Cummins can be handy in conditions that suit slower bowlers. Even otherwise, Cummins can be handy with the ball.
