MS Dhoni Makes A Surprise Visit To India’s Dressing Room After Second T20I vs England, Pictures Go Viral

After winning the first T20I against England in the ongoing three-match T20I series, India was looking to wrap up the series when they faced England at Edgbaston, Birmingham on 9 July 2022. As expected, big names like Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, and Jasprit Bumrah made a comeback into the playing XI.

Speaking about the match, India handed another thumping defeat to England by 49 runs as their bowlers steamrolled English batters. Bhuvneshwar Kumar had another great outing as he grabbed three wickets by conceding 15 runs in just three overs. With this win, India sealed the series with one more match to go. Indian fans were in a full joyful mood after this win. But, they become happier when former India captain, MS Dhoni made a surprise visit to the Indian dressing room after the match.

Speaking of the match, India batted first as England opted to bowl first. The new opening pair of Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant started brilliantly as they scored 49 runs in just 4.5 overs. Virat Kohli had another bad outing as he scored only one run. Ravindra Jadeja was the highest scorer as he scored 46* runs off 29 balls, including five fours. From England’s perspective, debutant Richard Gleeson picked up three wickets by conceding 15 runs in his four overs.

In reply, England only managed to score 121 runs as they got bundled out in just 17 overs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar was the player of the match as he picked up three wickets. Along with him, Jasprit Bumrah and Yuzvendra Chahal took two wickets each.

Now, India will look to do a clean sweep over England in this T20I series when they will lock horns with England on 10 July 2022 at Nottingham.
