Lucknow is locking horns with Chennai in the 7th match of the Indian T20 League 2022. The venue for the clash is the Brabourne stadium in Mumbai. The pitch at Brabourne looked like a belter and the Chennai batters made full use of it.

KL Rahul, the skipper of the Lucknow team won the toss and decided to field first. Chennai looked like they have made a good estimate of the pitch. The intent of the batters looked like they wanted to give their bowlers 20-30 runs more than the par score. As the top order laid the foundation for Chennai for a huge total, MS Dhoni came out to bat with the team score reading 189 for 5 in the 19th over of the innings. Dhoni looked in great touch in Chennai’s first match against Kolkata, where he scored 50 off 38 deliveries.

The fans expected something similar from MSD and he did not disappoint them. He began his knock with a huge six and followed with a four. Dhoni stayed not out at 16 runs off 6 deliveries and the fans were elated to see his cameo. The fans immediately took to Twitter and started commenting on the Indian Stalwart’s excellent little cameo. They felt that Dhoni has turned the clock back to 2011 when this sort of cameos from his bat towards the end of an innings was very common. Here is how the fans reacted
