ODI World Cup 2023: 5 players to watch out for in India vs Australia

India vs. Australia has always been an interesting battle to watch out for especially when it comes to big tournaments since both the top teams bring out their A game while outshining others. They have always been one of the top teams in all competitions and have consistently shown the intent to win. 

India and Australia will commence their ODI World Cup 2023 campaign against each other on 8 October 2023 at the M Chidambaram Stadium (popularly known as the Chepauk Stadium) in Chennai. Ahead of the ODI World Cup, 2023, Australia visited India for a three-match mini ODI series, which India seamlessly won by 2-1.

The Indian cricket board and team management decided to rest their key players Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Kuldeep Yadav from the first two matches of the series, and the team was led by KL Rahul. While Australia rested multiple players like Glenn Maxwell from the first two games who were struggling from injuries.
