Paddy Upton reveals his bizarre recommendation for India players to have sex

India cricketers having sex before matches is something very unusual for the fans. Not to forget, sex is a topic of great taboo in a country like India. On the other hand, a concept like this has always been a matter of discussion in non-Asian countries over the years. The idea was introduced ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2006 in Germany.
England was the one that resorted to the idea and had a great start as they won two games and drew one. However, the idea came under criticism after the Three Lions lost a knockout game against neighbors, Portugal. After England crashed out, a lot of people blamed the wives and girlfriends of the players for the exit. On the other hand, there were people who favored the idea.
Meanwhile, India’s mental health conditioning coach, Paddy Upton has revealed that he asked the then-head coach Gary Kirsten to allow players to have sex during the 2011 ODI World Cup. Notably, Upton was playing the same role in the team 11 years ago. A few months ago, he has returned to the team in the same capacity. The development was revealed by Paddy Upton in his book ‘The Barefoot Coach’.

Furthermore, the South African has claimed that he used to have sex during his playing days. He claims that it helps concentrate a player. Upton also maintained that not a lot of coaches allow players to have sex.
“I have had sex several times before some games,” he claimed as per a report in SkySports. It helps you concentrate. Not all the coaches let you have sex before a match though. I have noticed that in some games that I played better because I had sex before them.
