Both India and Pakistan locked horns again in Dubai in the ‘Super Four’ of the ongoing Asia Cup. In the group stage, India defeated Pakistan by five wickets in a nail-biter. Hence, the stage was set for another great match between these arch-rivals. However, two days back, India confirmed that Ravindra Jadeja will miss the remaining part of the tournament.

On the other side, Dahani also got ruled out from the Pakistan squad. Speaking of the match, Babar Azam won the toss. Then, he opted to bowl first. However, India made a surprising decision to consider Rishabh Pant ahead of Dinesh Karthik. In earlier matches, India went Karthik ahead of Pant.

The Indian skipper, Rohit Sharma, and KL Rahul came out to open the innings. However, they gave a blistering start to India. They reached the 50-run mark in just 4.2 overs. But, then, Pakistan pulled back some momentum in favour of them. They took both the wickets in quick succession. Then, Rishabh Pant joined Virat Kohli in the middle. But, again, Pant departed early after scoring 14 runs off 12 balls. Hardik Pandya got out on a duck also. Only, Virat Kohli continued his good form.

He scored another fifty in this tournament. In the last over, Kohli was batting with Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Haris Rauf came up to bowl that vital over. However, he bowled well as he conceded only one run in the first three balls. In the fourth delivery, Kohli looked for two runs. But, he got run out after scoring 60 runs off 44 balls. Then, Ravi Bishnoi came out to bat as India was on 173/7. Pakistan players and fans were hoping to restrict them under the 180-run mark. But, Pakistan made two horrible mistakes in the field. It cost them eight runs (two boundaries) as India scored 181 runs by losing seven wickets in 20 overs. Fans started to troll Pakistan after seeing their misfield in the match.
