The Indian star pacer Deepak Chahar has been occupying the limelight in the last week. He got married to his fiancée on June 1, 2022, and held a reception for his friends, colleague, and family. The reception was graced by the presence of cricketers from all parts of the country.
Most of the players attending the ceremony are quite known faces to the fans and supporters. But some of the fans mistaken an Indian player for the Pakistani speedster, Hasan Ali.

Even though the resemblance between the two players is not as uncanny as one would think, the sheer number of fans confusing the two players was astonishing. The fans were surprised by the potential presence of a Pakistani player at an Indian wedding in 2022. However, it was surprising to see how many of the fans did not know who the actual person was.

The mystery man is the Indian left-arm medium-pacer Khaleel Ahmed. The bowler has been a part of the Indian U-19 World Cup team in 2016. Since then, he has been a consistent performer with the ball. Ahead of the U-19 World Cup Khaleel Ahmed had 12 wickets to his name in three innings. However, he failed to carry forward his wicket-taking form into the tournament but he was a regular in the playing eleven in the tournament.
Talking about Khaleel’s Indian T20 League career, he was roped into the Delhi squad in 2016 for a price of INR 10 Lakhs. However, he was only able to make his debut in ITL 2018 while being a part of the Hyderabad team, who bought the bowler for a price of INR 3 Cr. Meanwhile, Khaleel’s breakthrough season in Indian T20 League was in the year 2019. He picked up 19 wickets in the season in just nine matches.
Ahead of the 15th edition of the Indian T20 League, Khaleel was roped in by Delhi once again, this time for a price of INR 5.25 Cr. He features in 10 matches for the team during the season and picked up 16 wickets in them.
As far as Khaleel’s international career is concerned, he has played 11 ODIs and 14 T20Is for India. His best performance in the international arena till now is in a match against West Indies, where he finished with an impressive figure of 3 wickets for 13 runs.
