‘Plate me bhi zero’- Fans react as Rohit Sharma posts pictures from Europe vacation following WTC final loss

Rohit Sharma is now on vacation with his family and is undoubtedly enjoying himself with his wife, Ritika Sajdeh, and daughter Samaira. The Indian captain took to Instagram to post a video of himself enjoying fun with his daughter Samaira on his shoulder while they were captivated by life-sized Disney and other figures in front of them. Now he posted a picture with his wife Ritika. The Indian Skipper has been under fire following India’s loss to Australia in the WTC 2023 final.

Previously he caught the attention of many was Ritika Sajdeh’s story on Instagram, when the wife of the Indian opener revealed that her husband jumped into the water to save her phone. She posted a video of a senior Indian batter, in which he can be seen standing on the shores of water after coming out of it.

After the loss, while speaking to reporters, Rohit claimed that he wants to win 1-2 championships for Team India. He said: “See obviously I have gotten the job to make sure that to take Indian cricket forward every time whoever it is or someone else. For me also it remains the same, I want to win games, I want to win championships and that is all we play for.”

“It will be nice to win some titles, win some extraordinary series. Having said that, we don’t want to put too much pressure on ourselves by overthinking this kind of stuff. As a captain, like I said I want to win championships and that is all the sport is all about. For me, it will be nice if I win one or two championships when I decide to move on from this job.”

India will play two Tests, three ODIs, and five T20s in the West Indies next month. The opening match is planned on July 12 at Windsor Park in Dominica. Fans from all around the world are eager to see the fascinating and action-packed season. Following the tour, India will compete in the 2017 Asia Cup, which will be held in a hybrid format by Sri Lanka and Pakistan. The competition will begin on August 31. The final match will begin on September 17.
