The five-time IPL title winner Mumbai Indians have consistently made headlines in the recent past ahead of the closure of the IPL retention window and the IPL 2024 auction which will be held on 19 December in Dubai. After the historic trade of Hardik Pandya and Cameron Green, Mumbai Indians are again trending since their ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah posted a cryptic Instagram story. 

On his account, Bumrah posted the story and unfollowed the team’s official Instagram handle. Bumrah and Mumbai Indians have had a long Cricket association and the pacer has given some of the best results to the team over these years. 

Jasprit Bumrah’s latest cryptic Instagram story

On his recent Instagram story, Jasprit Bumrah wrote “Silence is sometimes the best answer” which instantly ignited multiple questions in the minds of the cricket fans especially the Mumbai Indians team franchise supporters if everything is alright between Bumrah and Mumbai Indians team management. Since the trade window is still open till the IPL auction, some were even worried that Bumrah would decide to leave Mumbai Indians and join some other team ahead of IPL 2024. 

Recently Mumbai Indians made a historic trade as they welcomed back Gujarat Titans’ captain and their former middle order all-rounder player Hardik Pandya in the squad and traded Cameron Green to Royal Challengers Bangalore. In a recent post on his social media accounts, Hardik Pandya expressed his happiness to be back in his former IPL team franchise in Mumbai Indians while sharing the video of the Mumbai Indians team management picking him in the auction, he wrote, “This brings back so many wonderful memories. Mumbai. Wankhede. Paltan. Feels good to be back. 💙 #OneFamily @mipaltan”
