Reasons why Bangalore failed to win Indian T20 League 2022
2. Mohammed Siraj’s off-form with the bowl: Mohammed Siraj has proved his mettle as a bowler in the longest format of the game in the last season. This prompted Bangalore to retain him for a price of INR 7 Cr.
But Siraj failed to find the rhythm throughout the tournament. Siraj played 15 matches in the tournament. He picked up just 9 wickets in those matches at a dismal average of 57.11 and conceded runs at the rate of 10.08 runs per over. His failure as a backbone of the Bangalore bowling attack was one of the prime reasons for Bangalore not being able to lift the ever-elusive trophy.
