Since 2019, Virat Kohli has failed to play at his level best as he failed to score a hundred for India across all three formats. During the ODI series against England, Virat failed again when he was picked for the second ODI match. During that series, Rohit Sharma was asked about Virat Kohli’s form and inclusion in the playing XI despite his poor run of form.
He shut down those reporters by saying that he was unable to understand questioning Virat Kohli’s inclusion after what he has done so far for the country. “Players like him, who have played for so many years, made so many runs, won so many matches, they only need one or two good innings. That is my thinking and I am sure all those who follow cricket will think the same,” Rohit added in support of Kohli.
