However, Dilshan has surprised everyone with his batting in the Royal Safety World Series 2022. In three matches, he has scored 123 runs at an average of 41. Meanwhile, he smashed those runs at a strike rate of 155.69.
His best performance came against Australia Legends. He scored 107 runs off 56 balls, including 14 fours and four sixes. His inning helped Sri Lanka Legends to score 218 runs for one wicket in 20 overs. However, his inning proved that Dilshan can easily fit in the current Sri Lankan team ahead of many players.
