The Pakistan team has recently announced their playing 11 for the third test match against Australia of Pakistan’s tour of Australia. The last test match of the series will be a pink ball test match which will be conducted at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

The match will be noteworthy for multiple reasons considering it will be the last game for Australia’s legendary opening batter David Warner, who has consistently been showing a stellar performer for the team. On the other hand, Pakistan has picked an interesting playing 11 as they have dropped their ace bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi for the final match. Australia has kept their winning streak against Pakistan intact as they have registered 2 wins in the series.

Shaheen Afridi rested as a precaution for T20 World Cup 2024: Sources

“Shaheen is not injured but has been given a rest as he is going to lead Pakistan non-stop in the next few months. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is not taking any chance with his fitness as Shaheen is crucial for Pakistan this year with the T20 World Cup 2024 to be played in June,” said a close source.
