Babar Azam is currently busy playing for Pakistan in the seven-match home T20I series against England. After Asia Cup, Babar finally made a comeback with the bat as he already managed a ton in the second match of the series. Meanwhile, on 24 September 2022, Roger Federer played his last ever Tennis match with another great, Rafael Nadal in the Laver Cup.

After having an illustrative career, Roger Federer put an end to it. Meanwhile, social media was full of Federer’s emotional images. Apart from fans and other Tennis greats, the cricket fraternity also shared their messages for the Tennis Great. Cricketers like Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah shared their heartfelt messages for Federer.

Fans Trolled Babar Azam as he forgot Roger Federer’s name in a viral old video

Even, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam also shared a message on Twitter for the Tennis Great on 24 September 2022. He wrote: “Greatness personified. One of a kind. Iconic. Happy retirement, you absolute legend @rogerfederer!”. But, an old video got surfaced all over the internet where he was seen forgetting Roger Federer’s name. Back in March 2021, the Pakistan skipper failed to recognize the tennis player during an interview. “Iska kya naam tha? mujhe nahi pata. Federer, right? Roger Federer?” Babar said.

Meanwhile, Pakistan have already played three matches with England in the series. As of now, England are leading the series at a scoreline of 2-1. Babar Azam has scored 149 runs in three matches, at an average of 74.50 so far. In the second match, he scored 110* runs off 66 balls while chasing 200 runs in 20 overs. But, as this old video surfaced, fans came out to troll the Pakistan skipper. Some fans also criticized that he shared the tweet just for a show-off. People also troll him for forgetting a sporting Great’s name like Roger Federer.
