Sri Lanka Women vs India Women, 2022 – Full schedule, squads, venues, live streaming, time
Indian women are now scheduled to face the Sri Lanka women’s team under their new all-format skipper Harmanpreet Kaur, starting on 23 June. This T20I series will be a huge one for Indian women ahead of the Commonwealth Games and Women’s 20-20 World Cup.
After the 2022 Women’s world cup, this will be the first time when Indian women will be in action. India will play three T20Is and ODIs in the series. It will also be the first series after the retirement of Mithali Raj. Players like Smriti Mandhana and Harmanpreet Kaur will be watched to make an impact on the team ahead of the mega-events later this year.
On the other hand, Sri Lankan bowlers had been coming from devastating losses after being whitewashed 0-3 by Pakistan in a T20 series. However, India will still look upon players like Oshadi Ranasinghe and Chamari Athapaththu from the Sri Lankan camp.
