The Indian T20 League 2022 came to a conclusion with Gujarat defeating Rajasthan in the final of the tournament. While Rajasthan has been brilliant with their on-field show in most of the matches, Sanju Samson might not be happy with the team’s performance on the big day. But from the latest social media posts, it looks like Charulatha, Sanju Samson’s wife is not pleased with the official broadcasters of the tournament. In her latest Instagram post, she took a dig at the Star for not showing any player of the RR camp in their contenders for the season promotional video.

Notably, Star had created an animated video before the start of the ITL 2022. The video had popular names like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, MS Dhoni, and Rishabh Pant in it. But there was not a single player from the pink camp in the video. However, defying all odds Rajasthan made it to the finals of the tournament. Charulatha took to her Instagram to share the video while taking a dig at the official broadcasters of the tournament. She captioned the post -“Saw this animated video showing the race for ITL 2022 on the first day of ITL. And wondered why there wasn’t any pink jersey.”

Rajasthan lost in the finals to Gujarat by seven wickets. But on their road to the summit clash, they managed to bit the Titans of the tournament like Mumbai, Chennai, and Delhi. This gave Charulatha to take revenge on the Star network. She later shared another animated video, where the Rajasthan players are seen celebrating for making it to the finals of the tournament. She captioned the post – “Grateful.”

Talking about the finals of the Indian T20 League 2022, Rajasthan while batting first in the match found it difficult to score fluently. After the end of their 20 overs, they just managed to reach a total of 130 runs. Even though Gujarat lost two wickets at the beginning on the back of some important contributions by Hadrik Pandya, Shubman Gill, and David Miller, Gujarat managed to get over the line. They won their maiden ITL title in their debut season.
